Requested Maintenance
The client's request was for a redesign of the structural steel that supports their critical food additive tanks. The existing dark blue color needed to be changed to a more visible safety orange to improve workplace safety and comply with industry standards. Due to the critical role of these supports in the production environment, it was imperative that the conversion did not disrupt operations.
Scope of Work
- Surface Preparation: Sanding the metal surfaces to create a clean, receptive profile for the new paint
- Cleaning: Wiping down the structures with solvent to ensure no debris would inhibit paint adhesion
- Painting: Applying two coats of industrial enamel in safety orange
