Our client is a chemical manufacturer based in Chicago, Illinois we have consistently worked with for their painting needs and specialized projects in highly demanding environments.

The new steel structure within their chemical manufacturing facility presented unique challenges due to the harsh environmental conditions. The structure required a protective coating capable of withstanding the intense wear and tear from chemical exposure to maintain operational efficiency.

Scope of Work

Surface Preparation: Using solvents, we meticulously cleaned the surfaces to ensure optimal adhesion of the coating.
Coating Application: Two coats of Devthane 359 urethane in designated safety colors (yellow, green, blue and red) were applied. This high-build, high gloss urethane is known for its chemical resistance, making it the ideal choice for this project.
Crews and Certification: Ensured that a TWIC-certified foreman was always on site, and the work was conducted after 5:00 PM on weekdays to align with the client's operational requirements.
