Our client, a food distribution warehouse in Wisconsin, has been in the business of efficiently managing and distributing food products for years. The facility includes multiple storage areas, sorting stations, and loading docks. Given the nature of the business, maintaining a bright, clean, and safe environment is crucial.

The driving factor for this project was the dark and dirty condition of the ceiling, which created a shadowy and dingy environment. This negatively impacted visibility and safety, key concerns for warehouse operations.

Scope of Work

Scheduled Plant Shutdown: Carried out the project during a scheduled plant shutdown to avoid any disruptions.
Protection Measures: Covered all racks and flooring with tarps to protect them from paint.
Dryfall Paint Application: Applied dryfall paint to the ceiling, which dries almost instantly and falls to the floor as dust.
Post-Project Cleanup: Cleaned up tarps and the surrounding area after completion.

A key outcome of the project was improved visibility. By applying a light color to the ceiling, light reflection is increased, reducing the need for additional lighting and creating a safer and more pleasant working environment.
