WBE Star is the premier award for women’s leadership excellence given annually by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC)
Glendale Heights, IL, March 07, 2023 – Painters USA President and Board Chair Meg Cook has been recognized as a WBE Star by WBENC, the nation’s largest certifier of women-owned businesses.
The WBE Star Award honors 14 women across the country—representing WBENC’s 14 Regional Partner Organizations—who are leaders in their local business communities and respective fields. The 2023 WBE Stars will be honored during the 2023 WBENC National conference March 20-23, 2023, in Nashville, Tennessee.
Meg herself has said that she finds it humbling to be included in this group of women leaders from across the country, and that she is grateful to her RPO, or Regional Partner Organization. The RPOs are responsible for the administration of the WBENC certification prorgram across the United States.
