As commercial painting professionals, we think it is important to invest in worthwhile organizations in our area. This is born out of our belief that businesses should take advantage of their unique role in the communities they are a part of, both by providing valuable services/commodities and strengthening their neighborhoods however they can. For us here at PUSA, this local focus often takes the form of donations of both time and money, and the attendance of events.
We recently had the opportunity, for the 5th year in a row, to be the event sponsor for the BOMA (Building Owners and Managers Association) Suburban Chicago Golf Outing, held at Cantigny Golf Club in Wheaton, IL. In fact, our very own Matt Nichols is the chairman of the BOMA golf committee. As a side note, Matt also is celebrating 25 years with Painters USA this year!
A Beautiful Day Outside
It was wonderful to take a little break from the normal routine, pull out the clubs, and reconnect with old friends and networking partners. And, as an added bonus, the weather was a flawless 70 degrees and sunny! This lined up perfectly with our Caribbean cruise theme.
The day included not only sunshine, golf, and good friends, but also fantastic prizes. In fact, the grand prize was $500 cash and a $500 gift card to the Cantigny pro shop. That’s enough to put a smile on anyone’s face!
