Requested Maintenance

The client requested the installation of a safety walkway to ensure safe passage for warehouse pedestrians. The goal was to create a clearly defined, 4-foot wide, and 678-foot long walkway bordered with a bright red safety line for enhanced visibility and safety.

Scope of Work

Cleaned the walkway using Krud Kutter degreaser to ensure the surface was free from contaminants
Laid out the walkway using a provided map to achieve precise measurements of 4 feet wide and 678 feet long
Applied a hard surface primer for a strong base
Applied Epoxy Mastic Safety RED for the 4-inch safety line borders to provide a clear and enduring outline

At Painters USA, safety is ingrained in our company DNA. Our team members involved in this project were OSHA 10 certified, and 50% were OSHA 30 certified. Additionally, all our crew members are confined space certified, aerial lift certified, and respirator fit trained. We adhered to strict safety protocols by ensuring the use of hard hats, safety glasses, steel toe boots, and proper PPE on-site.

The project used Krud Kutter degreaser, known for its superior cleaning power, followed by a hard surface primer to ensure the epoxy would adhere smoothly and last longer. The bright red Epoxy Mastic was chosen for its visibility and durability, providing a clearly defined and safe walkway.

Despite the size of the project, our efficient planning and execution ensured minimal disruption to the warehouse's daily operations. The walkway installation was completed on time and met all of the client's safety requirements..
