Facility Description

HCC’s Mendota facility, a hub for manufacturing parts for John Deere, is embarking on a significant renovation. With a sprawling area of 250,000 sq. ft., this facility is central to HCC's operations, reflecting their commitment to maintaining state-of-the-art manufacturing standards.

Requested Maintenance

The primary focus of this project was the transformation of the facility’s interior, particularly the ceiling. The objective was to revamp the previously dark and dirty ceiling, giving it a fresh, new, white appearance. This revamp is a crucial step in the overall facility renovation, aimed at enhancing the working environment and reflecting HCC's high standards.

Decision Driver and Timing

The driving factor for this renovation was the need to rejuvenate the facility's appearance, improving both aesthetic and functional aspects. The project was strategically scheduled during the facility's September shutdown in the southwest corner, allowing for minimal disruption to HCC's ongoing operations.
