Our client is a well-established manufacturing facility in the Chicago area that has been a cornerstone of the industrial sector for several decades. This sprawling industrial facility houses over 50 machines critical to their operations.

Requested Maintenance

The client required a comprehensive cleaning and painting service for over 50 machines. Our aim was to enhance the appearance and functionality of the equipment while minimizing operational disruptions.

Scope of Work

Protective Coverings: We used floor-to-ceiling plastic sheathing to create a fully-enclosed workspace for each machine.
Air Quality Management: Implemented electric fans to circulate air and minimize odors.
Surface Preparation: Each machine was deep cleaned by hand, involving dusting, degreasing, and light sanding to ensure the right profile before coating.
Component Protection: Masked all components not to be painted to ensure precision and protection.
Painting: Applied 1-2 coats of JC Inviropoxy Perfection with an electrostatic sprayer for a high-quality finish.
Clean Up: Removed all masking and meticulously cleaned the workspace after each machine was finished.
Documentation: Maintained comprehensive records of the work, presented in a spreadsheet format with approvals from both our foreman and a client representative.
